FAQ

Questions we are often asked

Straight answers about working with SCS.

Is SCS a law firm?

No. SCS is a multidisciplinary corporate services company. Where specialist legal or regulated professional services are required, SCS partners with the relevant professionals and coordinates the work.

What happens after I contact SCS?

We listen first, then scope the exact services required and agree fees and timelines in writing. Once the engagement begins we deliver the registrations, filings, policies and systems agreed, and remain available for the next stage of your growth.

How are fees agreed?

We scope the exact services required and agree fees and timelines in writing, with no hidden steps.

Can I check your work independently?

Yes. Our Verification page lists each client's CAC RC number and explains how to look it up on the Corporate Affairs Commission's website, so you can compare the registered name yourself.

Do you work outside Abuja?

Yes. SCS serves clients nationwide in Nigeria, with cross-border client support.

Which sectors do you serve?

We work across more than ten sectors, including financial services, technology, energy, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, agribusiness, professional services, nonprofits, education and media. See our Industries page for sector-specific needs.

Do I need all of your services?

No. You can start with a single service or a lighter first step, such as our free assessment tool, and add support as the business grows.

Can SCS guarantee that a regulator will approve my application?

No. Decisions rest with the relevant authorities. SCS prepares the documentation, files it and follows up, but cannot guarantee a regulator's decision.

What is the difference between Corporate College and Stephen Corporate Academy (SCA)?

Stephen Corporate Academy (SCA) is our main academy, with its own website. Corporate College, on this website, is where you can request learning and training on topics related to our services, and where you will find our blog, Corporate School.

How is my personal data handled?
